Not every team had players worthy of the allstar game. There were separate lists created and most contained the EXACT same names.

Also, how would it be fair to teams like Iowa Chicago gulls etc who have 7 players better than a bad teams best player...

 

I dont consider the pens bad....

But i'd rather keep playing in the playoffs

Loll my team is not bad, saying GMs should get a certain amount of nominations, they k ow who the best players are on their team.

That's exactly how we did it down in the CHL @Jg3542jg. Don't get me wrong, We didn't expect the other leagues (LGHL & LGAHL) to do the same but we were able to put together a "Top Prospect" All-Star Game committee & ask all 20 CHL Owners what 6 players (1 from each position) do they feel was most deserving of an All-Star game nomination. then we went & submitted via vote on the forums so that the LGCHL Community would be able to have the final say on who they thought were All-Stars. With doing that, A few players who were top in "Stats" throughout the season didn't make it due to being top in stats doesn't mean that you're the best TEAM player.

In my opinion, I think it's good to see the different ways to do the All-Star voting & pay attention to the reactions of the Community so we can better advance it for the seasons to come.​

 

Well they did it this way and Poopin didn't even get in the game and he had 94 pts this year. Obviously there needs to be a better system put in place.

 

We noticed that doing it through the Management @Rantallion34 that most of the managers (Not all) picked players that were team players on their teams. A few "Top Points / Goal / Assist" players were left off due to them not being the best team player but individual player. I know that's not how it was here in the LGAHL but That's the reason we did it the way we did in the LGCHL because we wanted the players who were dynamic, All around players to have a chance as well.​

 

Yeah no matter what way it is done it will get screwed up and piss somebody off. Honestly I look at this all star lineup and I just see the super friends group.

 

Coming from one of the captains in this AHL All Star game I can relate and agree with some people's opinion on how the All Star game and Voting should be run in a different way but it is what it is, just like in real life some Elite players that should be in the All star game get left out. Many people might be wondering how it worked as far as DZ and I picking or drafting players well I'm going to explain to you guys quickly, Basically the top 6 players at every position on the Nominations list that had the most votes were eligible to be drafted by DZ and I. As far as players making the Nominations list I kind of disagree with a lot of players and think some players that aren't on the list should be over some players that are on the list. I can tell you though the many factors that come into place on choosing people to be on the Nominations list "Favouritism" doesn't play a reason as most people probably think it does.
