Keeping Track of Forfeits

just to keep things fair, i feel like we should overturn ALL of CM's games to 1-0 losses.

 

Personally that doesnt make sense to me. They won 2 games fairly, they just stopped showing up.

 

@x Latourious you agreed to some reschedules then tried to take a forfeit last night 2 weeks after the fact. You guys should probably make up your mind on whether you think taking forfeits speaks to someones character or not.

Feel free to set a new date and time, then you can take a forfeit if they no show, otherwise go kick rocks.

Should I post the PMs from Rehanek stating that the games would be played last night. Or is it alright for your Twitch buddies to get their way?

 

Ruthless is close to collapsing. Any chance we get the chance to replace 1 or 2 guys in an effort to get games in?

You've used your only replacement already, Tino's chatbox ban doesnt affect Pro Series, unless hes so pissed he doesnt want to play anymore.

 

Once again, why can't teams have unlimited add/drops? It's a video game! 100 bucks a team, $10 more for 1st add, $20 second, etc. It would be pretty entertaining to see Savard (Yankees) and Boss (Sawks) continually shelling out cash to the pot as a 'luxury tax',yet somehow the team gets worse like irl. If dollar dollar bills can buy one a HUT team, it sure as hell should buy one a PrO Series team.


And another team wants to enter and you say no? Wtf is that about? Have them take over whoever quit's schedule , W/L record intact (for a discount). More games ACTUALLY PLAYED, more competition, more fun, more $$$, less forfeits! Any downsides are alluding me atm. Or, better yet, have the new team join with a clean slate and make them play the full schedule by end of season (or extend season by 10 days or so?). They'd go down in Pro Series Folklore centuries from now as ' The Marathon Men'. Jk but basically watt I'm saying is huge(sic) you suck..

I have offered nuge for a couple weeks to get a spot. I have a full roster, one that is probably middle of the table, we have open availability and can easily marathon it. Basically told nuge I would accept whatever if it ment getting some competitive games in.

 

Its not fair to allow a team to join mid tournament unless they pay, which I'd never ask a team to do to take over another teams spot/record. Next season will be here soon enough and you guys are welcome to join.

 

They won a game fairly there was 4 lag-outs in, how is it fair every other team gets forfeit wins? Why not just make it as if they never entered the tourney take all games away

 

Say a team with 12 wins dropped out with a week left in the tournament and suddenly a team in 10th jumped ahead of a team in 8th and those changed wins changed the playoff picture entirely. Personally I think if a team drops out it doesnt matter what their results before are, whether they're 1-20 or 15-7 the previous results should remain and only future results should be affected.

 

Ok to play devils advocate... what if a team is 4 points out of a playoff spot and has there last 2 games vs CM is that fair to the other team losing out on 8 th seed? Either way there is no fair way. There is about 10 game difference from what your talking about. they have a lot of games left and all those teams are getting free wins.

 

but the other team also got 2 free wins vs CM, and if they lost to CM its their fault losing to a team that was 2-a lot before the FFs.

 

Our team just pissed on your team so im pretty sure you can tell 4 lag outs had something to do with it.

 

The 4 lagouts have nothing to do with the argument of whether their wins should stand or not
