Nice, hopefully they have Illinois' orange jersies this year. And I hope they let you use alternate uniforms online unlike Madden.

The original NCAA was designed to be a game where everyone was "happy". But your controllers wouldn't accept the programming. Some said EA lacked the programming knowledge to describe your perfect college football game. Entire customer demographics were lost. But I believe EA gamers define their football games though miserable AI and missing features. Your perfect game was one you just kept trying to throw corner routes on.

Spoken like a true pro of the EA franchise. I've played NCAA games before, but I think this'll be the first year I actually buy one. I've always gone strictly madden myself, but we'll see what happens this season. Think it'll be a big improvement over last season? I personally liked NHL a lot as for as EA's games went last year. Madden looks like it's gonna have some pretty nice features though.

Yeah my post was a sad attempt to modify that classic Matrix quote. I have little faith in EA having a "big improvement" in either Madden or NCAA. I think NCAA was great if it were actually playable. It was horrible with all the pick 6's last time around. I played it less than any NCAA I have owned, going back to Bill Walsh and College Football USA.

Hell yeah it did. Playing as "Columbus" (OSU) vs. "College Station" (Texas A&M) rocked.

I think '07 was my favorite NCAA game so far. I thought the running and passing attacks were pretty balanced. Great "D" players really stood out, as well as great O-lineman. The suceptibility to the playaction was it's only glaring weakness. It was the first online football game I owned too which led me to LG, so I'm a little biased.

im loving those ND green jerseys! looks like EA is taking the first steps into a NCAA team play mode with 4 player co-op offline play.

Other new features in the game include:

A refined and improved recruiting system- already thought 08 recruting was pretty good cant wait to see wait this is gonna be like

New post-game presentation and play-by-play- maybe like post game interview or something like that. heard play-by-play is suppose to evauluate the play u ran and say wat u did wrong like a real Play by play analyst does

Offline cooperative play with up to four players- like i said, maybe first steps into a Online team play (maybe in NCAA 2010?)

The ability to return missed field goals-gonna be cool but ive never seen a CPU kicker kick one short, guessed they fixed that

Bluffed play art to prevent people from looking at your playcalls when sitting next to you- Th3 Gam3, Yung Drunk u dont stand a chance now

I'll hold the excitement until we get specifics. At least they aren't touting weather as the cool new feature. I don't get why they can't do a co-op mode online, maybe not show who is controlling who (WR,RB) so you don't know where the play is going. They patched Live for 5 on 5 and NHL for a full team on each side. I thought NCAA and Madden would be the next step.

Man, every year I sit waiting to see 3 specific features. Create-a-School, spring game, and off season drills.

I have been missing those for so long. I don't know if I can fork down another 60 on a game that doesn't have any of those things I've wanted in the next gen version that are in the old gen versions.

I was actually hoping they have a feature that you can move teams from one conference to another. That way if you like FSU and someone else likes Texas and I like Florida and someone else likes Georgia I can move FSU and Texas to the SEC and we can all play each other in the conference schedule and then the top two from each division can play in the conference championship. We will see if they have that option.
