NCAA 09 Football Talk...

You know I'll be back for sure. I enjoy the NCAA league and cant wait to see what this Dynasty is going to be like :mrgreen:

 

Its about 6 weeks away, it will be here in no time at all...

 

Hopefully they actually put Eddie McGee in the game this year. He was a true freshman last season so I guess they missed him.

I am guessing he doesn't like the whole QB rotation in-game maybe ala the Cardinals last season. Maybe that could be the case?

 

If I had the Illini, I'd be more worried about not having Mendenhall than what backup QBs were around Rashard was a beast.

Yeah interest always seems to drop off a f*ing cliff when Madden comes out, maybe this could help maintain it a little longer. If a couple guys went into each BCS conference, it could make it interesting, two-man races for conference titles and people cursing my name when OSU gets in the BCS title game....again (me not the real ones). Its kinda funny considering I made it to two title games in a row at LG and managed to lose them both.

 

Only football game I buy is NCAA, so I'd be up for the dynasy all football season long. As long as EA fixed the servers of course. As for the two men in each BCS conference, what about a team like Notre Dame? Since they are not in a conference, can you edit the online conferences to swap them out with another team to say put them in the Big 10 or Big East? Just wondering. Having two man races for conference titles would be pretty interesting.

 

I think with the dynasty you play your whole schedule. All non-human opponents would be played as usual. What I wonder is, can you play the rest of your CPU schedule out of order. If I have a league guy to play in week 2 and we have problems connecting on Live, meeting up, etc. I wonder if I could skip around and play him whenever. The two man thing would be admittedly tough since certain people would only want to play with certain teams, at least early on. I know i wouldn't use anyone but the Buckeyes at first. ND is an interesting point. If they went undefeated they would certainly be in the title game mix, but even if they had, what 10 wins is the BCS requirement, they could get in a BCS bowl? I'd be more than happy to welcome ND to the Big Ten where they belong.

you have to play each week in order and do your recruiting as well. after each week is completed the commish then advances the week. the ea sports ncaa website has an online tutorial on how all the dynasty stuff works

In case you guys didn't know, EA developers have been posting and aswering questions at OS for Madden and NCAA. They're also taking feedbacks as to what the community want in future releases. I guess EA lifted the gag order they had on their Devs.

Also, there's a rumor going around that there is a problem with the DL pass rush. There isn't any. Too late to fix now. We all know EA rarely puts out a patch for their games. :-&

Something I just thought of and maybe it's already been mentioned but has EA said anything about edited rosters working in the online dynasty? Just wondering if the players name will show up in it. That'd take alittle of the excitement away if they don't but I could live with it.
