Just saying, don't start the game until they turn it on... if you don't hit start, I'm sure they'll figure it out and the game will get played.
My opinion on going for it on 4th.....I think it is dumb. I mean if you wanna do it, all power to ya, but it isn't very smart. It is a big risk. Now if you are winning by 2 or more scores I don't think you should go for it on 4th.
Depends on field position. If you are on the 40yd line, with 4th and short, you have a much better chance of getting the 1st down over a 57yd field goal or getting a punt inside the 10yd line. In that case, I usually go for it, because if I punt and get a touchback, all I gained was pushing the other team back 20yds. Big whoop. Getting that first down and extending the drive is much more important. I almost always go for it on 4th and short yardage if I'm just out of FG range but too close to make a punt much of a factor in the field position game.
Hmm, no matter what, if you are up by 2 or more scores.....punt or go for the FG. I don't care if it is inches, you really have no reason going for it. As for booting it into the endzone...it is very easy to get the punt inside the 15, if you know how to play the game.
Well I dont think Jon gets a lot of practice with trying to punt it inside the 15, but I agree with Jon and those circumstances.
LOL, yeah. I don't have many 4th downs, so the situation doesn't present itself too much. But if someone is good enough to get me to 4th down, most likely the score is close so I'll be going for it.
