I didnt know Snoop was a hard rocker.. lol

But mine would have to be 1) Metallica- Can't get enough of them, one of my favorite bands of all time
    2) Guns 'n Roses- Good tunes, too impressive to be left off my list
    3) Rage Against the Machine... Morrellaaaaaaaaaa Mania. The guy is a guitar god!

I also agree with AZ with Avenged Sevenfold, they're alright too. ACDC is just a bit... overrated, only maybe 3-4 good songs that they've ever done isnt really enough.

And I will get to that genre too, I have a special place for Hip-Hop , I 've been listening to it since 1987. Not such a fan of today's Hip-Hop though.

I think Tris should start a new forum now. Movies, Music & Entertainment

Does any else know about Enter Shikari? Check out a few of their songs/videos here. They look like a bunch of little geeks, but they rock! My fav is Sorry You're Not A Winner.

Not that i dont like the idea, but isn't that really what the "off-topic" forum is for?

I am a little upset with the new Foos album. I am a huge Foo Fighters fan, but their new CD was not what I expected. I read in an interview with David Grohl in Rolling Stone before the new CD hit he says this CD was bringing the Foos back to their roots (earlier CDs), and immediately I thought of songs like Monkey Wrench and Hero. Instead its more acoustic like stuff than guitar riffs. I loved the In Your Honor CD, one CD was normal Foo stuff, the other was acoustic tunes.

I am still waiting for the new AC/DC CD. They havent released one since 2001 - its been said to be in production for 4 years now.

Maybe, but the same argument might be made for other forums such as "The Electronics Connection".

Anyway, to give a possible benefit, I do think that members may post more about movies, music, and TV if they had a designated area to do so.

lol. Well thats just for me. I think all their songs just sound the same. So you heard one, you've heard them all I guess..

If We're going with newer stuff, I really don't know. I don't care too much for todays music. Most things I hear on the radio are either Rap, or really weird Emo/Screamo... Thats why I listen to Q107 (classic Rock for those outside the GTA :) )

But from reading the thread Avenged Sevenfold.. most other bands I just know a song or two by them....

There's just so much that could & would be discussed in a forum of it's own. If we were to let it all hang out in this forum, many other items would get lost in the mix, "off topic" is just too general. I just think a forum onto it's self would create much more discussion, hence a benefit for all. Just my 2 cents...

I don't know man, I think I might actually like their new stuff even better now that Dino's ass is out of the band. Transgression was phenominal.

Holy crap! I just picked up the new Protest the Hero album at lunch. What a great freakin' album! I didn't even know they were from Whitby Ontario (just minutes from here).

If you like Alexisonfire and Dream Theatre but heavier, you HAVE to check this out!

Also, placed my order for a new band album called Kindom of Sorrow. I really liked the few tracks I heard online and it got great write ups in some metal magazines.
