Hope I get you are trying to grow the community but its not gonna work by forcing people to play a schedule it makes no difference, it will grow either way, u need to advertise the tournament, Stream every game you play and put the label Pro series in front of it go post it on Ea forums. I severely doubt the community grows because of a money Tourney on LG. You are thinking big things i get it and that's great. But i personally want it to be FUN, first and foremost.. playing scheduled games inst fun for anyone. I run a team of guys that aren't overly active but are Very good. Most only play possibly 2 nights a week. Either way this benefits some and not others, hopefully things work out. Its way to late to get into a debate on how to improve viewership of EASHL, how about we let EA do there own job and figure that out...
CanAm has scheduled games and people LOVE it. Just saying. It's literally the same thing, just a club tournament instead of USA vs. Canada.
Only thing im curious about is A: Is this 10000% the way its staying? or B: can we vote like 1 vote per team?
Which is it? EA isn't going to hand us tournaments. You do realize that right? It's not NHL 09 and 10 anymore. I used big examples but it starts with underground tournaments like this. Again, do not expect EA to just suddenly hand us tournaments and viewers. That's not how it works. Non-schedule games benefits some and not others as well. Scheduled games aren't fun? Quit LG. Don't worry about CanAm either. That thing is full of no fun whatsoever and it's not just because of the talent pool. Can you tell me why scheduled games won't help grow viewership? It's a fact that consistency in schedule grows viewers on Twitch. Your favorite TV show just doesn't decide to air whenever the producers feel like. When you're well rested I would love to hear your ideas on improving viewership for EASHL. I mean posting on the EA forums? For real? That's your example of advertising? Are you unaware of what year it is? Your ideas better not include more content creators and a set schedule for streaming the games. Also lol'd at "LOL COLLATERAL KIDS, IM DONE!" It's truly great that reaction still exists but at the same time, it's unfortunate it does. COLLATERAL KIDS have done just as much, if not more, for the 6s community as anyone else. I'm showing you guys examples of stuff that is really happening. EA has an e-sports division now and you guys don't even want to attempt to try and work for a piece of that?
Well if your team doesn't ever play between the times of 9pm and 1am, obviously this season isn't for you. It sounds like there can be wiggle room to schedule/reschedule your games to suit your needs between those times and can be scheduled/rescheduled to any day of that week. Unless I am reading it wrong, the schedule doesn't sound as strict as a few of you are making it out to be (like in LG)
Agreed. As long if there is some wiggle room with rescheduling and its NOT strict i don't see an issue with it. Our team will be more towards the later games like 11-1.
So you're saying if a team wants to play @ 2am they can't? F the schedule, nothing was wrong with the other format other than teams waiting until the last minute to get the minimum games.
