NHL 16 Info - EASHL along with the other features have been confirmed

I like the fixed attributes idea, but fixed player size? No.

First off, lets keep eugenics out of hockey. Second, this is a step back to the 'big man make booooom boooooom; little man go zooooooom zooooooom' days of the early NHL games. Moreover, it'd hardly be representative of real hockey. Sure, there are more elite playmakers in the 5'11" range (Sid, Pavel, Giroux, etc.), but 6'4" Jumbo Joe can swing his dick with the best of em.

If theres a cooldown on leaving clubs like there is right now, LG games are going to a nightmare to get together. I feel sorry for Owners/GMs/AGMs. Better start praying that those "private otp games" use custom skaters and not real rosters.

Best assumption would be to look at FIFA's leveling system for otp and club and apply it to the NHL series. I wasn't a fan initially of that system, but after playing games with it really liked how it worked. More than likely you will be assigned boosted stats for completing certain tasks. For example.... 15 career assists will award the player +2 in the passing category, or 3 goals in a game will award +2 in the shooting category. As you complete more tasks, your player will have more attributes assigned to that category. All is just a guess until more is released. Don't be too surprised when you see the attribute system for EASHL mimic FIFA though. I find it hard to believe your player would not receive any boost points and be limited to just picking a player type. It would be a first for EA, but wouldn't put it past Rammer to do it.

One thing the GameChangers had directly influenced in the game were the “private OTP sessions”. For any of you guys that play in 6v6 leagues such as VHL or LG (leaguegaming.com) – you’re welcome.
I’ll be sure to get more information about this section when we go back to Vancouver to play the game again next.

I would like them to do a secondary classes or if we could choose 2 classes for 1 build. IMO they could have do this long time ago, there a lot of players that you can easily give them 2 classes. Ovechkin Sniper/pwf, datsyuk playmaker/twf
5 builds is way too low, this would get like 25 builds for forwards.
I hope they will let us choose the height and weight too.

Agreed bro, how do they expect me to get my legend 3 when I'm having sex for 15 hours a day.

Also, since there are no cards you could theoretically have a different tag linked to your main account ( @Tris10 plz help) to use for "LG Clubs" for people that are doinks and don't want to leave their clubs? My understanding is that additional tags on the one are free. Alternatively, you could just create a dummy tag to keep as GM on your main club. There are ways around it clearly, LG will be fine.

 

Only EA could recycle EASHL, OTP and 6vs6 and make it sound like a new feature lol.

The seamless puck pickups has me hopeful that on rebounds my guy wont stare at the puck and actually clear it. Then again this may be skill.

Seamless puck pick-ups are for forwards, silly.

 

I'm more excited to see how much better this website will be when using the One.

 

Rebounds were definitely crazy.. everyone after the puck.. 12 man collision system. Lots of bumping and people falling. Was pretty much best to clear it if you got a hold of the puck just to make sure no one else on the other team got it. Puck pick ups were pretty solid at times, however there was some issues that have been talking about and hopefully addressed. Still was missing some animations and such, but the ones that were there felt good.
