Don't know what the team name will be yet, either be Remember The Legends or That's A Minus but we're in

 

Talked to [MENTION=4]Tris10[/MENTION] today about the tournament. We should be seeing a sub-forum pop up over the next few days for all club tournament related things.

Other Major Points:
1. LG will be taking a chunk of the money because Tris is building some systems from scratch for us, and Im sure we all will happily support this amazing site.

2. The tournament will be split into 2 parts, a "ladder" to determine seeding that will last about a month, and then a playoff.

3. Teams must have their money in before they can participate in the tournament, we will have a deadline (thinking March 15th) for both rosters and payments. Because the teams are required to submit the money and not individual players we are not allowing roster transactions.

4. There will be an 8 person limit on rosters and the fee for a team to join is $80

5. All scores must be reported with a picture of the game stats to verify the final score.

More details will be revealed over the next few days, and expect an official rosters thread to pop up soon. Once your roster is posted and you've paid (details on how to pay will be up shortly too) your team will be locked into the tournament.

One thing I have noticed over the last 4 years or so of 6s tourneys/leagues ran by the community is, expecting 8 people to stay on the same team for at least a month is an extremely high expectation. Sure there will be teams that can do it (the ones who have been together for many years) but I am guessing it could get dicey by the end. If just 2 people have something come up in real life or xbox related etc... then you need the same 6 to always be available for every game.
