Effective this Friday July 1st, 2006 smoking in public places such as bars, restaurants, etc will be banned.
I believe people should be able to smoke where ever they want to. People associate drinking with smoking, and eating with smoking. They should be able to smoke outside it doesn't bother people. I don't mind if people smoke near me. Pretty soon people won't even be able to smoke in their own homes, or cars.
Pretty soon, I reckon smoking will be illegal period, since you pretty much can't smoke anywhere in many places. When that happens though, it will create chaos, until they stop that rule and let people light up.
Pretty soon? Smoking will never be illegal. All these smoking bans are being done on the state level. The federal government will never make smoking illegal.
I just watched that South Park episode where rob Reiner tries to stop smoking. Very funny. Reminded me of this.
I've never smoked a cigarette or cigar in my life. This is all due to some of my relatives who died from smoking. I guess I was fortunate to learn at a young age not to touch em. Kudos to those who quit and are trying to quit.

I don't need your pity on people who are not smoker. Smoking is very dangerous and can ruin health. You should feel sorry for yourself and other smokers.
^ Why not save him the afterschool special and not to preach to him about the consequences of smoking, I'm sure he's aware of them. He merely stated his opinion.
I miss brewski and a smoke time :x but each day it gets better ( NOT) quitting is the single hardest thing I have ever done. ( 6 Months now )
